I was genuinely saddened when I heard this.

Fuller was also in Mesa of Lost Women, and she wasn't the only link between Jail Bait and that film: Jail Bait was also the source of Mesa's notorious musical score.

Another sad passing. Is anyone left from the good old days?

Regarding The Mesa of the Lost Women/Jail Bait music, it was created by the late Hoyt Curtin, who later composed virtually ALL of the music for the Hanna-Barbera cartoons, from the silly to the cool shows. Especially memorable for me was his amazing music for the original Jonny Quest and Space Ghost cartoons. Of course everyone knows his music for The Flintstones and The Jetsons. A far cry from Jail Bait, huh?

...so, we can laugh at these movies and make fun of the music, but Hoyt Curtin definitely gets the last laugh. His music from most of the cartoons you mentioned have been programmed into my brain practically since birth.

(Besides, in Mesa of Lost Women the music is just too loud and overused - yes, to the point of turning the movie into an ordeal. But in Jail Bait it's perfectly ok in the background.)

I like Jail Bait a lot; I tolerate Mesa of the Lost Women. ;)

She was also a songwriter...
From IMDB.com:
"Fuller turned songwriter, wrote tunes for a number of movies (including Elvis Presley's "Blue Hawaii" and "Kid Galahad"), founded her own record company (Dee Dee Records) and helped to launch the careers of Johnny Rivers and Tanya Tucker."
